Miriam C. Davis ”The Axeman of New Orleans”

This week I welcome author/historian Miriam C. Davis PhD. We discuss the new information she uncovered while researching the Axeman of New Orleans, and her theory on just who was responsible.
Miriam graduated from Emory University magna cum laude with a degree in history and studied at the University of St. Andrews on a Bobby Jones Scholarship. She went on to earn an MA in medieval archaeology from the University of New York on a Fullbright Fellowship and a PhD in history from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After teaching for sixteen years at Delta State University, she left as Professor of History and is now a freelance writer and lectures for Smithsonian Journeys.
